The Cat Action Team celebrated a significant event in 2009, when our co-founder, Diane Minick, received the PEI Humane Society’s first annual Dr. Els Animal Champion Award. This award “recognizes people or pets that, through their actions, have contributed to animal welfare and have illustrated the human-animal bond.” Below, PEI Humane Society Board Member Janice Petley presents the award to Diane:
In 2010, the recipient was a long-time CAT member and volunteer, Glenda Carver.
